Juleigh Chin
President, Herricks Public Schools Board of Education
Juleigh Chin is a proud 2nd generation Korean American, devoted wife and mother, political activist, and passionate community advocate. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she made New York her home and has spent over 30 years serving her neighbors through public service, education, and grassroots organizing.
As President of the Herricks Board of Education, Juleigh is guided by a deep belief in fairness, representation, and building a stronger future for all.
In 2024, she worked full-time on the special election that re-elected Tom Suozzi to Congress and later served with the New York State Democratic Committee, experiences that strengthened her commitment to tackling challenges head-on and turning ideas into real solutions.
Known for her collaborative spirit, quick wit, and dedication to the causes she loves, Juleigh is also a proud member of the BTS Army, proof that she brings both passion and a little bit of fun to everything she does.
