Jane Kim Coloseus

Jane is the Principal at Emzo Consulting LLC, where she develops strategic programs and partnerships to advance policy impact. She also serves as a senior advisor to the Special Competitive Studies Project and policy director for a U.S. congressional candidate.
Previously, she held senior roles in the U.S. Department of State, including Senior Policy Advisor to the Science and Technology Adviser to the Secretary to advance policies on critical and emerging technologies, and Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications to the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security to promote U.S. global security policies.
Prior to her government service, Jane spent a decade in nonprofit leadership, including serving as the inaugural Executive Director of Her Term, a U.S.-funded officer to the International Atomic Energy Agency, and liaison manager at the World Institute for Nuclear Security.
Jane holds an MSc in Government Analytics from Johns Hopkins University, BAs in Anthropology and History from the University of Virginia, and a postgraduate certificate in Terrorism Studies from the University of St. Andrews.
