
Andy Song
School Board Director, Kent District School District
Andy Song is a licensed therapist, behavior analyst, and business owner who operates clinics in the Seattle area serving children and families, with a focus on intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is also a tenured professor at Tacoma Community College and a guest lecturer at the University of Washington Medical School.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he helped establish the psychiatric inpatient unit for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. He currently serves as an elected school board member, advocating for equity, access, and support for all students. His research interests focus on cross-cultural mental health and learning theory for students with disabilities, connecting his clinical and academic work.
